The word geek according to Wikipedia means a peculiar or otherwise dislikable person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual. Is this what the word geek means today? Originally, it was used to refer to a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken, bat or snake.

Does it deserve a new and refreshed meaning? I believe the answer is yes! So with this continuing series of post I plan on explaining – “What it means to be a geek”
